About the Role

Physical Therapists play a vital role in helping individuals build strength, mobility, and independence. This role supports individuals across programs by providing expert evaluation, therapy services, and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess individuals on an ongoing basis to develop personalized, meaningful treatment goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on assessment findings, helping individuals enhance mobility, function, and quality of life.
• Educate individuals, families, and team members on treatment plans, therapy methods, injury prevention, positioning, range of motion, and more.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including educators and healthcare professionals ensuring alignment with each Individual Program Plan (IPP) or Individual Education Plan (IEP).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program and regulatory requirements.
• Support departmental operations, including equipment needs, adaptation, and orientation of new staff.
• Participate in agency-wide initiatives that advance our mission and enhance the well-being of the people we serve.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current NYS Physical Therapy Registration/Licensure
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred
• A valid NYS Driver's License and ability to travel between sites

Salary/Compensations

• $61,880.00 - $70,998.20 / 12-Month School Calendar
• Sign-on bonus Eligible! Full Time $5,000
• Sign-on bonus Eligible! Part Time $2,500 (20 or more hours a week)
