About the Role
This role involves executing client-directed trades across various asset classes and managing the full trading life cycle, from pre-trade checks to post-trade reporting. You will develop in-depth knowledge of asset classes and products, cover multiple regions, and collaborate with management to enhance client services.
Responsibilities
- Execute client-directed trades across asset classes.
- Manage the full trading life cycle, including pre-trade checks, execution, booking, and post-trade checks.
- Handle risk disclosures, product marketing obligations, and reporting execution details to clients.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank.
- Provide multi-regional coverage and work in a fast-paced, dynamic multi-market and multi-cultural environment.
- Collaborate with management to generate solutions for best-in-class client services.
Requirements
- English and Spanish proficiency required; Portuguese is a plus.
- Series 7 and 66 licenses required.
- Proficiency in Excel required; Python is a plus.
- Degree educated, preferably in a finance or business-related subject, or equivalent experience.
- Previous brokerage/trading experience required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position required.
- Ability to work under tight market deadlines and ensure accuracy in executing client orders.
- Coachable professional with good business sense and an energetic/dynamic personality.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Self-starter with a high sense of responsibility, strong organization, detail-orientation, and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of financial markets and products.
