Welders perform various procedures to manufacture goods, meeting quality standards, on-time delivery goals, and all safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding procedures to meet quality standards and on-time delivery goals.
- Set up welding equipment and follow welding procedure specifications.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Fabricate component parts into complete assemblies.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Keep work area clean and neat.
- Document processed parts.
- Perform basic machine maintenance.
- Save programs on the machine.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Good social skills to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to take and follow directions.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
