About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for Before and After School Programs at William B. Tecler Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, enjoy supporting student growth, and want to be part of a mission-driven team.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities, as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience working with children under 13 is preferred.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

Work Type
- Part-time
- Follows the school calendar
- Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am
- Afternoon Program: 2:45 - 6:00 pm
- Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Salary/Compensations
- $16.00 per hour
