About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for Before and After School Programs at R.J. McNulty Academy for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, enjoy encouraging their curiosity and creativity, and want to support student growth.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities, as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience working with children under 13 preferred.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Work Type

- Follows the school calendar
- Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am
- Afternoon Program: 2:45 - 6:00 pm
Experience Level

- $16.00 per hour
