About the Role
The Clinic Lead is the senior on-site leader responsible for clinic performance day to day, partnering closely with medical leadership on clinical quality and team effectiveness. This is a hands-on building role where you will help establish and improve workflows, team routines, and operating standards as Neko scales.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the clinic team, partnering with medical leadership on physician performance and development.
- Lead clinical hiring in partnership with Talent Acquisition and own onboarding.
- Translate clinical and operational changes from leadership into clinic workflows, protocols, and day-to-day practice.
- Oversee the operational side of the clinic, including inventory, facilities, hospitality, scheduling, training, and tech issues.
- Track and act on clinic metrics, partnering with medical leadership to raise the quality of care.
- Own incident reporting, risk management, and member-concern resolution.
- Ensure clinic compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and internal SOPs.
Requirements
- Single-site operational ownership including staffing, scheduling, inventory, facilities, performance, and budget accountability.
- Ability to read data, fix operational issues, and prevent recurrence.
- Experience leading people to improve their performance through feedback and development.
- Direct accountability for member experience, related metrics, and the culture that produces it.
- Ability to read a clinical situation, ask the right questions, and partner with physicians and medical leadership.
- Experience operating where the playbook was not written, building teams or processes from scratch, making prioritization or resourcing decisions with incomplete data, and operating without established SOPs.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
