About the Role
The Patient Coordinator schedules appointments, performs check-in and out duties, assists with checkout duties as needed, and performs administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Collect and process payments
- Import and call parents when authorizations are received
- Schedule treatment and recall appointments
- Confirm treatment appointments
- Handle incoming calls throughout the day
- Process No Show Reports
- Schedule patients from ASAP List
- Check patients in and out
- Verify information on file
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Call patients who are more than 10 minutes late
- Confirm observation appointments
- Schedule observation appointments
- Work on the daily sign-in sheet
- Scan in NPP and enter it into the system
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
- Work effectively with others
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of healthcare/dental front office experience is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Education Level
- High school diploma or equivalent
Salary/Compensations
- $16.90-$23.65/hour
