About the Role

This role provides technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT and audio-visual (AV) systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform general day-to-day support, including setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems.
• Provide first-line technical support for end-users, addressing issues with computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Perform basic system updates, installations, and configurations.
• Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
• Support live events, including meetings, webinars, and presentations, ensuring AV equipment functions seamlessly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues during events or regular operations.
• Maintain accurate records of IT and AV equipment inventory.
• Document and track support tickets, solutions, and system changes.
• Report recurring technical issues and suggest potential improvements.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to develop technical skills.
• Provide basic IT and AV training to end-users as needed.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with audio-visual technology, including common AV setups and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with AV platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar.
• Understanding of video editing or basic multimedia production.
• Basic knowledge of cabling and signal flow for IT and AV systems.
