About the Role
McCormick is seeking a Machine Operator to join their Operations team. This role involves operating production machinery, assisting with maintenance and sanitation, and ensuring quality standards are met within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supply and operate various production machines
- Assist in routine equipment maintenance and change overs
- Perform sanitation procedures
- Assist in generating and tracking production statistics
- Maintain quality standards by performing quality checks
- Trouble shoot packaging equipment components
- Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures
Requirements
- OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
- Ability to safely perform physical work, including, pushing, pulling, and lifting to 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete paperwork and data input in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant mechanical experience
- Experience with operating automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging equipment
- SAP knowledge would be considered an asset

- $21.23 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift differential
