About the Role
Join OPmobility and lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role offers a chance to guide production teams, mentor members, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support production teams to meet daily goals for safety, quality, and delivery.
- Train and mentor team members on work instructions and quality standards.
- Inspect parts and ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment (5S principles).
- Assist with scheduling breaks, implementing rotation plans, and tracking production metrics.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Previous manufacturing experience in JIT/JIS environments preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear PPE.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
