About the Role

Guggenheim Securities is seeking an exceptional Analyst to join its Technology & Services Investment Banking group in London. Analysts are valued members of lean, high-performing deal teams, working closely with senior bankers on live transactions and strategic advisory assignments. The role offers a dynamic environment that accelerates professional development through hands-on experience on high-profile assignments, with a focus on building a long-term career in investment banking.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of M&A and capital raising transactions across the Technology & Services sectors
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials and marketing documents
  • Support deal teams in developing, maintaining and using complex financial models and valuation analyses
  • Draft internal and client-facing materials including memoranda, management presentations, and marketing content
  • Conduct company, market, and sector research to support deal execution and business development
  • Collaborate with deal teams and external parties including clients, lawyers, and accountants throughout the transaction process
  • Manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of investment banking or equivalent M&A experience
  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Commitment to meet the demands of high volume and high-end client services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in finance
  • High level of maturity, attention to detail, and ability to work with external executives and senior management
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
  • Desire to join a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial platform
  • Core modeling and valuation experience in professional setting
