About the Role

Guggenheim Securities is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Technology & Services Investment Banking group in London. This role involves advising clients on a broad range of financial and strategic matters, including M&A and capital raising. Associates will work on small client teams, gaining exposure to senior bankers and client representatives, and will receive best-in-class investment banking training.

Responsibilities

Prepare and contribute to client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.
Develop and monitor complex financial models for corporate finance alternatives and valuation analysis.
Draft internal and client-facing documents, including management presentations, lender presentations, fairness opinions, and pitchbooks.
Perform client due diligence, prepare information memoranda, and other transaction-related documentation.
Contribute to the creation of strategic frameworks, tools, and intellectual property for business development.
Conduct competitive research, including identifying sector and industry trends.
Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of investment banking or equivalent M&A experience.
Significant level of maturity and ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior management.
Highly organized, with initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Effective process management abilities.
Core modeling and valuation experience in a professional setting.
