About the Role
Join Johnson Security Bureau, Inc. as a Fire Guard Security Officer and be part of an elite team. We are seeking S95 certified individuals or those willing to obtain the certification for a rewarding career.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Monitor CCTV
- Monitor fire alarm panel
- Provide JSB standard customer service while assisting clients, customers, employees, visitors, and guests
- Report any suspicious persons, vehicles, packages and/or activities
- Maintain presence in lobby and assist visitors
- Respond immediately to emergencies, provide necessary support, and contact emergency services when necessary
- Patrol site
- Write incident reports and log book entries
- Protect client and company assets from theft, assault, fire, or other safety issues
- Work independently and with other team members
Requirements
- 2 years security experience
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- Fireguard S95 Certification or willingness to obtain
- CPR & First Aid certification
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Flexible work schedule
- Ability to work weekends
- Strong and consistent work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Command of the English language and ability to be clearly understood
- Strong smartphone & tablet operating skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Authorized to legally work in the United States
- Pass a drug test with negative results
- Pass an extensive background check
- Provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, upon job offer (if prior military)
