About the Role
Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. seeks a Vice President to support the US Credit Trading Franchise from a chief operating officer (COO)/business manager (BM) perspective.
Responsibilities
- Conducting advanced financial forecasting, profit and loss (P&L) reporting, and operational metrics analysis to drive revenue optimization and strategic decision-making.
- Performing gap analysis.
- Designing and rolling out systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency, including leveraging automation tools for process improvements.
- Coordinating headcount planning and budgeting exercises to optimize client profitability and capture wallet share.
- Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and informing strategic decisions for businesses covered.
- Streamlining financial processes and enhancing efficiency through workflow automation to reduce operational costs.
- Evaluating financial workflows, including identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and improve financial systems.
- Performing statistical analysis of market data, risk assessments, and data-driven decision-making to optimize financial strategies.
- Managing financial performance including allocating resources and ensuring profitability.
- Analyzing complex financial situations, identifying and addressing operational issues, and developing solutions to support financial activities and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of experience in financial forecasting, P&L reporting, and operational metrics analysis.
- Three (3) years of academic study toward a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two (2) years of experience can satisfy the Bachelor's degree requirement.
