Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers.
  • Manually load and unload delivery trucks.
  • Verify parts loaded and unloaded.
  • Collect payments from customers.
  • Obtain signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts.
  • Deliver returned items back to the location.
  • Drive a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
  • Physically load Company truck and verify paperwork.
  • Physically unload the truck and verify parts.
  • Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts for returned parts.
  • Collect accounts receivable as necessary.
  • Comply with established Company policies and procedures.
  • Complete annual training as assigned.
  • Operate in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • No Degree Required
  • 1+ years of experience required
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements.
  • Must be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and Powerpoint presentations.
  • Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
  • Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time.
  • May be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment.
  • Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles.
  • May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
