About the Role

The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for assisting in managing, overseeing, and ensuring the successful administrative, financial and operational aspects of a CityMD site. This role supports a patient-centric urgent care experience, fosters an inviting environment, and aids in patient care and site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the performance of the front desk operation, including patient volume, registration delays, and post-discharge follow-up.
  • Assisting the Site Manager in preparing the schedule for non-providers.
  • Ordering medical supplies, medications, vaccinations, and office supplies.
  • Opening and closing the site as required.
  • Assisting the site manager in administrative and operational responsibilities and providing coverage.
  • Ensuring staff maintains professionalism, coaching, managing, disciplining, and developing staff.
  • Managing Patient Care Representatives (PCRs) from interviewing to performance and discipline.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with policy, procedure, and HIPAA.
  • Interacting with patients and families at discharge, resolving disputes, and reviewing patient satisfaction cards.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of managing experience in urgent care, medical practice, hospital, retail, hospitality, or restaurant industries.
  • Good computer skills, including knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to handle group dynamics and bring unity to a diverse group.
  • Able to troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Comfortable with constructive confrontation and counseling management.
  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit and takes a proactive approach to business operations.
  • Bilingual language skills required or preferred based on site location.
  • Must work on-site.
  • May require lifting heavy objects, doing repetitive tasks with few breaks, and light cleaning.
