About the Role
We are seeking an experienced logistics and supply chain professional to manage equipment inventory, delivery, installation, and deployment for our offices, data centers, and co-locations. This role involves tracking assets throughout their lifecycle and aligning global processes with our Hong Kong office.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive logistics plans for equipment movement from warehouses to data centers.
- Manage the call-off process, ensuring timely and accurate equipment delivery.
- Coordinate the planning of installations and deployments of equipment across multiple sites with business stakeholders.
- Support inventory level management and identify stock challenges with the Procurement team.
- Assist with asset transfers and drive process improvements in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Manage customs broking and paperwork for importing and exporting goods globally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and project management, preferably in IT or data center environments.
- Demonstrable experience improving, streamlining, and documenting processes.
- Proven track record of managing vendors and coordinating third-party services.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Experienced project manager and resource planner.
- Strong communicator with excellent people and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to operate with a high sense of urgency.
- Experience in asset transfers management, process improvement, and process management (a plus).
- Fluent in English.
