About the Role
Jane Street is developing OxCaml, a specialized branch of OCaml for performance engineering. This role involves creating educational materials and courses to teach engineers how to effectively use OxCaml, contributing to the language's educational component and the next generation of OxCaml.
Responsibilities
- Develop materials and deliver courses to teach engineers how to use OxCaml effectively.
- Expand OCaml Bootcamp for new hires to include OxCaml.
- Develop specific tutorials for experienced developers on advanced OxCaml features.
- Write code and spend a significant fraction of time doing so.
- Teach and develop curricula.
- Mentor other budding teachers and help them grow their skills.
