About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to help scale our networks, drive standardization through automation, and explore AI for operational improvements. This role involves working with a multi-vendor, highly available network infrastructure that handles diverse traffic profiles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on new data center and colocation initiatives, WAN routing optimization, and cross-team design projects.
• Interface with stakeholders to assess business needs and develop innovative network features.
• Lead reactive support and proactive infrastructure improvements with a focus on documentation.
• Explore AI/ML-driven enhancements to streamline operations and improve service quality.
• Utilize networking expertise to scale infrastructure while maintaining high standards for performance and reliability.
• Document solutions and processes to enhance team efficiency with meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience operating and deploying network infrastructure.
• 3+ years dedicated to ground-up network design.
• Deep experience with routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM).
• Experience troubleshooting transport protocols (TCP/UDP).
• Comfortable operating in Linux environments.
• Proficient in at least one programming language.
• Strong inclination to automate workflows and explore AI/ML approaches.
• Eager to produce comprehensive, scalable documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and switch contexts effectively.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Excellent collaborator and communicator, ready to build strong partnerships with diverse global teams and stakeholders.
• Flexible, reliable mindset and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with peers.
• Fluent in English.
