About the Role

Trading Desk Operations Engineers are integral to the firm’s success, building and maintaining desk infrastructure that supports the trading of thousands of financial products across 200 venues in over 45 countries. TDOEs manage the operational side of trading desk activities, interfacing with various groups to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This role involves supporting traders and developers on projects such as managing and optimizing infrastructure, supporting trading systems, designing solutions for trading issues, and communicating with external counterparties for trade settlement.

Responsibilities

Managing and optimizing infrastructure and operational processes
Supporting trading systems and workflows by executing data queries and coordinating with stakeholders
Designing and implementing solutions for a range of trading and operational-related issues on the desk
Communicating with clearing firms and external counterparties to settle and clear trades

Requirements

Critical thinker with a strong technical foundation and an interest in expanding programming skills
Able to use technical knowledge and strong collaboration skills to reach solutions
Agile and adaptive problem solver
Humble about what you know and don’t know; eager to ask questions and learn new things
Reliable team player with a “no job too small” attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication
