About the Role
Support product development for the Womenswear Jersey team, focusing on Jersey Basics & Fancy Jersey. Drive sales and profitability by developing a customer-focused assortment aligned with COS aesthetics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure orders meeting brand and customer requirements in time, price, quality, and quantity, supporting departmental growth.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze departmental product, assortment, quantity, and sales, proposing actions based on business needs and presenting sales figures.
- Maximize departmental sales and profitability by maintaining timelines for order replacement.
- Monitor and react to customer impact from trends and market surroundings.
- Manage day-to-day team organization.
- Oversee the flow of post to and from recipients.
- Analyze competitor activity and provide insights to the team.
- Communicate with the production office regarding product development, follow up on order placements, and meet deadlines.
- Support product development from start to finish in collaboration with the buyer, aligning with department margin targets.
- Prepare and assist with fittings, organizing agendas, and ensuring timely and accurate sample provision.
- Handle samples and maintain the sample wardrobe, ensuring neatness and tidiness.
- Raise orders and order updates.
Requirements

- Previous experience as an Assistant Buyer or Senior Buying Admin Assistant within womenswear.
- Strong product development knowledge.
- Experience partnering closely with in-house Design and cross-functional teams.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Comprehensive understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Passion for contemporary fashion and design.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
