About the Role
The Field Marketing Specialist supports the Field Marketing Manager in making Red Bull #1 in their region by acting as the face of Red Bull in the local market. This role involves gathering local insights, building community networks, and implementing innovative marketing initiatives across various pillars, while managing a local team of Student Marketeers to bring the World of Red Bull to life.
Responsibilities
- Set clear goals to drive trial and expand the consumer base on and off campus.
- Communicate clear expectations and guidelines for Student Marketeers to deliver trial driving plans.
- Ensure a strong sales support program to drive distribution and improve in-store visibility.
- Create university initiatives that build brand and fan love among students.
- Use program tools and reporting features to steer an effective program, track performance, and identify opportunities.
- Coach and empower team members in the planning process for new mission ideas.
- Manage sampling requests, ensuring alignment with wider priorities.
- Ensure effective interactions to drive positive trial with consumers.
- Source and hire Student Marketeers with the right brand fit, skills, and attitude.
- Implement and uphold national recruitment, on-boarding, and training modules.
- Train and lead Student Marketeers with an empowerment approach.
- Lead a strong Team Leader program.
- Create and support key events, scenes, and marketing opportunities relevant to the local consumer.
- Support the delivery of programs with 3rd party event properties.
- Identify local opinion leaders and work to bring them into the World of Red Bull.
- Implement national and global events/projects with excellence.
- Incorporate Indirect Sampling initiatives to broaden reach.
- Activate National pillars, events, and Global Brand Projects around universities.
- Develop, own, and execute new ideas that are locally relevant.
- Involve the Consumer Collecting team in idea generation and capitalize on their lifestyle to identify trends.
- Lead the creative process with Student Marketeers for new ideas to build loyalty.
- Understand the consumer landscape and how to reach various consumers.
- Act as a role model displaying Red Bull values.
- Ensure the right program setup in the right areas to reach the target group.
- Drive efficiencies in programs using program tools.
- Support the local logistics system for tools, warehousing, and management.
- Support the national operations team to manage product stock.
- Perform regular maintenance and management of program tools, Mini fleet, and other branded items.
Requirements
- 2+ years marketing experience.
- Experience in leading teams and managing people.
- A strategic thinker who takes initiative and ownership.
- A connector with excellent communication and networking skills.
- Strong 'can do' attitude, strives for perfection and attention to detail.
- Leadership, motivation, and ability to cultivate a team environment.
- Analytical, planning, budgetary, and project management competencies.
- Creative mind with a track record of implementing new ideas and assessing results.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting and training abilities.
- Must have valid US driver’s license.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S. on a valid visa.
