About the Role

This role involves overseeing daily neurodiagnostic workflows and testing schedules, mentoring technical staff, serving as a subject matter expert for complex cases, and fostering collaborative leadership within the Neurodiagnostic Lab at Dell Seton Medical Center.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily neurodiagnostic workflows and testing schedules to optimize department productivity and efficiency.
  • Mentor technical staff through proactive quality management, formal performance evaluations, and clinical guidance.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for complex cases, providing specialized consultation and elite technologist duties.
  • Promote situational problem-solving, active teamwork, and high standards of cooperation across the unit.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Technologist specializing in Neurophysiologic Intraop Monit credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Tech specializing in Nerve Conduction Study obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
