About the Role
Altagram is seeking freelance translators and proofreaders for English US to Chinese Simplified localization of video games. Projects include in-game text, marketing content, subtitling, linguistic quality evaluation, and culturalization analysis.
Responsibilities
- Translate and proofread game content.
- Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) on selected projects.
- Evaluate linguistic quality (LQA).
- Conduct culturalization analysis.
Requirements
- Native-level Chinese Simplified and excellent command of English US.
- Demonstrated experience localizing video games.
- Confident working in memoQ.
- Familiar with Plunet TMS.
- Willingness to complete two short unpaid test pieces for translation and proofreading.
