We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide respite services for an 11-year-old male in the North Syracuse area. This role involves engaging with the child in various activities, supporting his development, and ensuring a safe and loving environment. The position offers flexibility in hours and potential for additional work within the agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide respite services for an 11-year-old male.
- Engage the child in outdoor activities, trampoline use, and winter play.
- Facilitate engagement with singing, dancing, and Xbox.
- Support the child's development through creative and interactive activities.
- Ensure a safe and loving home environment.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills are required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule is required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for community use and adhere to ARISE/EFR's technology policy.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities is preferred.
