About the Role

The Catering Director is responsible for managing catering and events, building client relations, and ensuring outstanding quality of catering services.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and oversees internal and external catering events.
  • Develops and maintains the catering marketing plan, including event planning services and menu development.
  • Hires, trains, and schedules catering staff, and supports their development in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures successful operations of catering functions, including labor and food cost control, preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in Catering Management.
  • Experience in booking, selecting, and costing menu items.
  • Experience in pricing contracts.
  • Experience in resourcing temporary help and equipment.
  • Ability to supervise food preparation, service, and cleanup.
