About the Role
As a data engineer, you will help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects. You will deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. You will work with and guide a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, agile environment, using your experience in analytical exploration and data examination while managing the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for clients.
Responsibilities

- Manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for clients.
- Support collaborative, cross-functional technical teams.
- Communicate complex analytic concepts to clinical and public health stakeholders.
- Develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats.
- Support the team in scaling, monitoring, and operating data platforms.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with PySpark and SQL
- 3+ years of experience with Azure Databricks
- 3+ years of experience retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
- 3+ years of experience building scalable ETL or ELT workflows for reporting and analytics
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
