About the Role

The Marketing Operations Manager oversees the operational delivery of digital, marketing, and event initiatives, ensuring projects are well-planned, resourced, and progressing effectively. This role manages the team’s projects calendar, work capacity, KPIs, and reporting, serving as a central coordination point for efficient delivery across national and local initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the integrated projects calendar for visibility across all digital, marketing, and event initiatives.
  • Oversee work capacity planning and allocation, balancing resources across projects.
  • Monitor project intake and prioritization to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Partner with project leads to ensure initiatives are progressing effectively, properly scoped, and resourced.
  • Maintain oversight of multiple concurrent projects, identifying and mitigating risks, gaps, and bottlenecks.
  • Track and report on KPIs and project performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting frameworks and dashboards.
  • Lead the delivery of in-person and virtual events in the Ontario market.
  • Provide operational leadership for national initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment with regional teams.
  • Act as a central coordination point across teams and stakeholders nationally.
  • Facilitate clear communication and provide consistent status updates.
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement in operational processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of project management tools and systems.
  • Drive adoption, training, and best practices for project management tools.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in marketing operations, digital project management, or a related field.
  • Experience in an in-house or professional services environment is preferred.
  • Professional services or legal industry experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital and marketing workflows across web, campaigns, events, email, and content.
  • Proven experience managing project pipelines, resourcing, and prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience overseeing team capacity planning, project intake, and operational workflows.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain visibility across a complex portfolio.
  • Proof of vaccinations recommended by government or public health authorities may be required.
