About the Role
The Marketing Operations Manager oversees the operational delivery of digital, marketing, and event initiatives, ensuring projects are well-planned, resourced, and progressing effectively. This role manages the team’s projects calendar, work capacity, KPIs, and reporting, serving as a central coordination point for efficient delivery across national and local initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the integrated projects calendar for visibility across all digital, marketing, and event initiatives.
- Oversee work capacity planning and allocation, balancing resources across projects.
- Monitor project intake and prioritization to ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Partner with project leads to ensure initiatives are progressing effectively, properly scoped, and resourced.
- Maintain oversight of multiple concurrent projects, identifying and mitigating risks, gaps, and bottlenecks.
- Track and report on KPIs and project performance, providing actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain regular reporting frameworks and dashboards.
- Lead the delivery of in-person and virtual events in the Ontario market.
- Provide operational leadership for national initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment with regional teams.
- Act as a central coordination point across teams and stakeholders nationally.
- Facilitate clear communication and provide consistent status updates.
- Drive consistency and continuous improvement in operational processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support efficient project delivery.
- Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment.
- Support the implementation and optimization of project management tools and systems.
- Drive adoption, training, and best practices for project management tools.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in marketing operations, digital project management, or a related field.
- Experience in an in-house or professional services environment is preferred.
- Professional services or legal industry experience is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of digital and marketing workflows across web, campaigns, events, email, and content.
- Proven experience managing project pipelines, resourcing, and prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience overseeing team capacity planning, project intake, and operational workflows.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain visibility across a complex portfolio.
- Proof of vaccinations recommended by government or public health authorities may be required.
