About the Role
The Vice President, Client Success – National Market is responsible for a team of client success managers overseeing relationships with national market employer clients. This role focuses on delivering client retention goals, driving revenue from upsells, and managing key performance indicators to ensure team objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a large market Client Success team, ensuring KPIs are met with a focus on client retention and pipeline management for upsells.
- Act as an Executive Sponsor to support retention goals and drive client engagement and advocacy.
- Represent the company at client meetings and events to promote the company’s brand, building relationships with clients and consultants.
- Articulate Progyny’s value proposition and financial model to diverse audiences.
- Resolve escalated member issues by collaborating with other senior leaders.
- Implement improvements to account management business processes for growth and scale.
- Manage a staffing model and compensation approach to scale the team.
- Identify professional development and training opportunities for direct reports.
Requirements
- 12+ years of strategic and consultative selling experience within healthcare, employer benefits, or insurance industries.
- Proven success leading, coaching, and supporting a team to achieve goals while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex employer relationships with a focus on strategic retention and growth.
- Ability to work with and manage expectations of internal executive teams.
- Strong skills in negotiation, collaboration, and relationship management.
- Expertise in presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong financial and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to define goals, create action plans, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and excel in a fast-growing organization.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

- $185,000 - $195,000 (NYC-based applicants)
