About the Role

The European Product team is responsible for the development and management of the Luxembourg and Ireland fund range through the product lifecycle. You will play a critical role in the design and launch of new products, working in close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver strong customer outcomes and commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support research, design, development, and launch of new products for the European market.
  • Ensure product design meets the needs of defined target markets and segments.
  • Conduct and source competitor research to inform new product development.
  • Prepare and present product ideas and business cases to senior management.
  • Seek required seed investments for new product launches.
  • Lead launch project working groups, managing key stakeholders and their expectations.
  • Provide summary updates to the Product Implementation Working Group.
  • Maintain product specifications, project run books, issues and action logs, and meeting minutes.
  • Conduct post-launch product reviews, implement remedies, and communicate findings to Product committees.
  • Stay informed of market/regulatory developments relevant to product development.
  • Support and assist other members of the European and broader Product Teams.
  • Promote the European Product Team and broader Product Team internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in asset management and curiosity to develop better solutions for various client types.
  • Knowledge of European pooled fund product structures (e.g., UCITS/AIFs) and distribution channels.
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle, with mindfulness of good customer outcomes and Consumer Duty.
  • Experience and proven ability to project manage launch/change initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking with proven experience in devising and developing product propositions or solutions.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to summarize key points, ideas, and data in various contexts.
  • Ability to draft effective client communications/materials.
  • Leadership and influencing skills to present recommendations persuasively.
  • Ability to chair effective project meetings.
  • Ability to build consensus and make effective decisions.
  • Team skills and the ability to engage, challenge, and influence colleagues.
  • Well-organized, able to plan and meet deadlines while managing risks.
  • Numerate and a capable user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
