About the Role

The Chief of Staff office plays a central role in supporting senior executives, providing strategic, operational, and administrative leadership at the core of the organization. As a trusted advisor to Executive Committee members, this role delivers essential operational support, advances key strategic efforts, and helps leaders navigate complex, fast‑moving organizational challenges with clarity and agility. The Chief of Staff function is pivotal in progressing executive priorities, promoting enterprise-wide alignment, and sustaining operational excellence across the executive office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support to senior executives, including assistance in strategy development and execution, research, and analysis.
  • Manage colleague engagement planning, communication channels, and cross-departmental coordination.
  • Manage key projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of senior executives, monitoring progress and providing updates.
  • Improve operational efficiency by identifying areas for improvement, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices.
  • Develop performance reporting for key metrics, analyze data to drive performance, and assist with financial analysis and budget management.
  • Support senior leadership with resource planning, talent development, succession planning, and leadership initiatives.
  • Assist senior executives with risk and control oversight, crisis management, risk mitigation, and business continuity.
  • Implement a robust governance framework to support the board of directors and governance committees.
  • Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
  • Lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees, and appraise performance.
  • Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members, identifying new directions and methodologies for projects.
  • Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders for escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures for the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
  • Perform work closely related to other areas, understanding coordination and contribution to organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with other areas to stay updated on business activity and strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively.
  • Communicate complex information, including sensitive or difficult-to-convey content.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholder coordination, project execution, and governance activities.
  • Experience with leadership meetings, agendas, materials, decision tracking, and follow-up actions.
  • Experience in analytical and operational support leveraging automation, developing Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external briefings, presentations, and executive-level events.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, communicate with confidence, and support effective decision making.
  • Ability to operate with clarity and efficiency in a dynamic environment while meeting critical deadlines.
