Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of quarterly financial statements to Limited Partners.
- Oversee the preparation of schedules supporting general ledger balances.
- Calculate, prepare, and distribute capital call notices to Limited Partners.
- Interpret terms within the Limited Partnership Agreement.
- Calculate and review complex waterfall structures.
- Complete required regulatory forms for Fund compliance.
- Calculate and distribute proceeds to Limited Partners.
- Communicate directly with General Partners and respond to their requests.
- Review investment packages to confirm accuracy of securities purchases.
- Calculate management fees owed to the Management Company.
- Interact with auditors and provide necessary support.
- Complete audit confirmations for Limited Partner audits.
- Multi-task between client deliverables and internal demands.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and coaching to the team, including training.
- Conduct ongoing team trainings and provide input on global training opportunities.
- Provide daily leadership across the team and organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.
Requirements
- 5 – 7+ years of supervisory experience in performance management, coaching, progressive discipline, performance review delivery, training, talent acquisition, and retention.
- 5 – 7+ years of relevant experience in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, pay attention to detail, plan, and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively through written and oral communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Skills
- Investran or other partnership accounting software (a plus)
Experience Level
- 5 – 7+ years
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Advanced degree (MBA or MSA) in Accounting or related field (strongly preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (strongly preferred)
