About the Role
We are looking for a Mill Spare to join our team at the Scarborough (New Forest) plant. This role involves providing cleaning and assisting operators with production duties in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide cleaning inside and outside the mill.
- Assist operators with production duties and heavy lifting.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices.
- Follow company policies.
Requirements
- Secondary school education diploma.
- Common math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).
- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Effective communication skills.
- Previous experience in manufacturing.
- Able to lift and move heavy objects.
- Able to make decisions on demand.
- Able to work 8 hr and 12 hr continental shifts.
- Able to work in hot, cold, humid and dusty environment.
- Good organization skills.
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal and background check.
