About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful customer-facing delivery of infrastructure, Microsoft cloud, workplace, security, and managed service projects. The role involves managing projects from initial engagement to operational handover, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. The Project Manager will engage with customers, coordinate technical teams, manage governance, and ensure project outcomes are embedded into business-as-usual support services, acting as the single point of ownership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects from initiation to closure.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Act as primary point of contact for project delivery.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Escalate concerns to maintain project outcomes.
- Ensure solutions are operationally ready before project closure.
- Coordinate activities for acceptance into operational support.
- Produce regular status reports for internal and customer-facing audiences.
- Facilitate governance meetings and manage customer expectations.
- Ensure adherence to project governance standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience managing customer-facing IT infrastructure, cloud, or managed service projects.
- Experience coordinating Service Transition or operational onboarding activities.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
- Experience managing risks, issues and dependencies.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent.
- Experience using ServiceNow Project Management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including M365, Azure and Managed Services.
- Experience supporting customer onboarding and Acceptance into Service activities.
