About the Role
Drive adoption of DoorDash’s growing suite of SaaS and platform tools within the existing restaurant partner base. This role owns a full-cycle outside sales motion, combining field-based relationship building with data-driven storytelling to close complex deals quickly and consistently. This role is hybrid field and remote, spending 2–3 days per week in territory engaging directly with restaurant owners, operators, and executive decision-makers. You will manage a quarterly book of business with clear revenue expectations, a defined lead list, and a fast-paced sales cycle. You will report to the Manager of Strategic Account Development within the Outside Sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Drive a complex, fast-paced, high-volume sales motion.
- Run a highly structured end-to-end sales workflow: prospecting, discovery, data analysis, pitching, negotiation, and close.
- Excite existing accounts on the potential to increase revenue share.
- Engage with strategic decision makers, including restaurant owners and operators, while using data to tell a compelling story.
- Use deep product knowledge to position advanced DoorDash platform tools designed to improve revenue, operations, and brand perception.
- Use forecasts, unit economics, and internal insights to show merchants how various SaaS and sales packages drive revenue growth.
- Work with Account Managers, Sales Leadership, and cross-functional partners to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and adoption.
- Contribute to building internal sales processes, documentation, and best practices for a rapidly scaling product line.
- Travel across your region (up to 40%), while we offer flexible hours and options to work from home.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of closing experience, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment, selling to SMB clients.
- Experience in restaurant technology or selling to restaurant operators is highly preferred.
- Experience selling hardware is preferred.
- Successful experience managing a full-cycle outside sales territory.
- Strong discovery skills and a track record of navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Expertise working in Salesforce, Outreach, Microsoft Office, and Excel, with the ability to use data to persuade and forecast outcomes.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities and experience working with account managers or service teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with proven success driving revenue.

- Base salary: $98,520—$144,900 USD
- Total on-target earnings (base + commissions): $164,200—$241,500 USD
