  • Analyze membership trends, outreach efforts, campaign effectiveness, and engagement metrics to recommend continuous improvement strategies.
  • Establish measurable annual goals for community engagement, partnership development, and membership growth, monitor progress toward those goals and the overall performance of the position and regularly report outcomes to the Executive Director.
  • Lead branch engagement initiatives that strengthen member relationships and improve retention, increase referrals, and enhance the overall YMCA experience for members, participants, volunteers, and guests.
  • Identify opportunities to expand community awareness through speaking engagements, presentations, health fairs, festivals, business visits, and other public events.
  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking outreach activities, partnership development, referral pipelines, membership leads, and community engagement outcomes.
  • Serve as the lead for membership sales strategies through relationship-based outreach, lead generation, corporate partnerships, referrals, and intentional follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Association and branch leadership to identify new opportunities for community impact, innovative programming, and organizational growth.
  • Assist in planning and promoting major YMCA events, annual campaigns, community celebrations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the YMCA by communicating its mission, cause, programs, membership opportunities, and community impact with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity while recruiting, engaging, and stewarding volunteers who support community outreach, special events, membership growth, and mission advancement.
  • Serve as a Staff Liaison for the Olean Annual Campaign, actively cultivating relationships with donors and sponsors, supporting the recruitment and retention of campaigners, and leveraging membership and programming initiatives to advance the YMCA’s mission and community impact.
  • Functions as a Leader on Duty (LOD) as scheduled, working with the Membership Director for scheduling.
