About the Role
The Business Development Coordinator collaborates closely with the Marketing and Business Development team, partners, and practice group leaders to execute business development projects, programs, and activities. This role supports practice groups with various initiatives, including client outreach, webinars, sponsorships, podcasts, directory submissions, and proposals/pitches.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and distribute marketing materials, including firm brochures, practice group descriptions, experience lists, attorney bios, presentations, and other collateral.
- Provide support for business development activities such as seminars, webinars, sponsorships, and client or prospect meetings.
- Conduct targeted research and competitive analysis to support business development efforts.
- Draft submissions for directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, GCR, GRR).
- Maintain tracking systems and databases, including CRM, pitch tracker, collateral library, and experience database.
- Assist with special marketing and BD projects as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, business development, or a related field within a professional services environment (law firm experience preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize complex information to identify trends, insights, and actionable opportunities.
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
- High degree of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
