About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day investment desk analytics, reporting, and data quality checks
  • Maintain and enhance proprietary risk and quantitative investment tools
  • Automate repetitive and data-heavy workflows (e.g., reporting pipelines, data handling, model inputs/outputs)
  • Analyze portfolio exposures and risk metrics to support investment decision-making
  • Contribute to research and analysis that informs asset allocation and portfolio risk discussions
  • Partner with senior team members on projects spanning market analysis, modeling, and process improvements
  • Document methodologies, processes, and key assumptions to improve transparency and repeatability
  • Communicate insights clearly through concise written updates and well-structured outputs

Requirements

  • Strong numerate and analytical foundation in a quantitative discipline (e.g., STEM, economics, finance, or similar)
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investing, with the ability to discuss key market drivers clearly
  • Practical coding experience in Python and/or MATLAB (academic or professional)
  • Strong Excel skills, including building reliable, audit-friendly models and analysis
  • Experience working with structured datasets, including cleaning, validation, and reconciliation of inputs/outputs
  • High attention to detail and a consistent approach to quality control and error checking
  • Ability to manage recurring deliverables while prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines
  • Continuous-improvement mindset, with a track record of simplifying or automating manual processes
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for working with senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to pursue relevant qualifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or similar)
