About the Role
Automated Technology Systems Inc. (ATS) is seeking an experienced Audiovisual Technician to lead installations, coordinate with project managers, and ensure high-quality execution across residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Execute audiovisual installations including audio, video, control systems, and networking
- Supervise and support technicians and installers on job sites
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and project documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Maintain ATS quality standards, safety practices, and jobsite organization
- Provide client-facing support and professional communication as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on audiovisual installation experience
- Strong knowledge of AV systems (audio, video, control, networking)
- Experience leading crews and managing onsite workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot systems independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Active NYS 40-Hour Site Safety Training (SST) Card – REQUIRED
