About the Role

Arctic Bear Plumbing, Heating, Air & Water Treatment is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to join their team in Binghamton, NY. This role involves leading HVAC installation projects for residential systems, installing various heating and cooling components, troubleshooting issues, and supervising junior installers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HVAC installation projects for residential systems
  • Install gas furnaces, boilers, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and refrigerant piping
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve problems on-site
  • Supervise and train HVAC installers and helpers
  • Ensure all work meets local code, safety standards, and company quality standards
  • Communicate with homeowners and provide excellent customer service
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment as required by the job.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an HVAC installer or HVAC Technician
  • Experience with residential HVAC systems
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong HVAC technical knowledge

Salary/Compensations

  • $20 - $35+ per hour
