About the Role

The Associate Production Operations Specialist will operate Jib cameras, stage manage, and perform A2 duties. This role also involves functioning as a camera operator, audio operator, robotic camera operator, and server playback for live and taped television broadcasts, supporting NBC Sports Bay Area and California.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Jib camera, stage manage, A2.
  • Media Playback
  • Assist/Co-Pilot in an APC Production Environment
  • Understand and maintain studio operations SOPs for operational training, and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Performs other control room and studio related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in video production or live TV, preferably in an APC Production Environment
  • Experience with Ross Overdrive APC, Mira media playback, CalRec Assist or Jib Operations
  • Functional knowledge of newsroom computer systems, specifically iNews or Rundown Software equivalent
  • Must have strong oral/written communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, be able to work in a team, and be able to work accurately under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must be self-motivated to take on new tasks to help better our production.
  • Aptitude and desire to be cross trained in other studio operations positions.
