About the Role
Provide day-to-day support to the Sales Executive in managing key sleepwear accounts from order placement through delivery. This role is responsible for preparing for customer meetings, maintaining accurate buy sheets and purchase orders, coordinating with internal cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely communication with customers regarding orders, samples, and deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Executive with customer meetings, line reviews, showroom appointments, and sales presentations.
- Prepare and maintain buy sheets, line sheets, assortment grids, pricing, and sales recaps.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy and coordinate with Order Entry to ensure timely processing.
- Enter order revisions, including pricing, delivery dates, quantities, and style updates.
- Generate and monitor open order reports to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding orders, shipments, samples, and Available-to-Sell (ATS) inventory.
- Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, Production, Sourcing, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to resolve order and shipment issues.
- Initiate and track sample requests through PLM and provide updates to customers.
- Maintain communication with overseas production offices regarding order status and delivery timelines.
- Review account spreadsheets, UPCs, bulk recaps, packing lists, invoices, and shipment tracers for accuracy.
- Ensure buy sheets, purchase orders, pricing, style information, colors, quantities, and delivery dates remain accurate and up to date.
- Send CADs, product images, TOP (Top of Production) approvals, and other product information to customers as requested.
- Monitor routing, shipping, and warehouse activities to help ensure timely product deliveries.
- Research competitive products and market trends to support the Sales and Merchandising teams.
- Perform additional administrative and sales support duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of sales support, customer service, merchandising, or account management experience within the apparel industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with PLM systems.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, customer-first mindset.
