About the Role
The Heart Center is seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner to join its established and growing Cardiology Practice. This inpatient position is based at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, offering an excellent employed opportunity at a large community hospital in a beautiful suburban location.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for a high volume, fast paced inpatient Cardiology service in collaboration with cardiologists
- Provide coverage for urgent and emergent matters
- Conduct rounds
- Perform consultations, admissions and discharges
- Supervise stress tests
- Participate in an active clinical research program
- Engage in one-on-one teaching from Cardiology attendings
Requirements
- NYS License and Board Certification
- Cardiology and critical care experience preferred
- New graduates with relevant experience will be considered
