About the Role
As an Employability Tutor, you will contribute to helping people across Westminster develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to secure stable, fulfilling employment. You will deliver high-quality, engaging teaching sessions covering topics such as Team Leading, Business Administration, and Employability Skills, acting as a source of inspiration and guidance for learners.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching sessions.
- Help learners develop skills, confidence, and experience for employment.
- Cover topics including Team Leading, Business Administration, and Employability Skills.
- Support learners to progress, overcome barriers, and fulfill their potential.
- Work alongside the Employability Job Coach to ensure learners receive ongoing support.
Requirements
- Hold a qualification at Level 2 or higher in Team Leading, Business Administration, and Digital Skills.
- Possess both an Assessing and a Teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching and assessing qualifications in a post-16 or adult education environment.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent employer liaison skills.
- Passionate about helping people achieve their career goals.
- Care Leavers meeting essential criteria will automatically be invited to interview.
- Individuals who declare a disability and meet essential criteria are guaranteed an interview.
