  • Provide relevant analysis and appropriate escalation of emerging risks, trends, and improvement opportunities to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of quality specialists by fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure operational excellence through effective implementation of quality programs, solid governance, and consistent delivery of high-quality service results.
  • Drive process improvements by standardizing work methods, strengthening controls, and bringing structure to complex or evolving environments.
  • Promote the adoption of technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and analytics to increase efficiency, enhance analysis, and develop future capabilities of the Quality function.
  • Build strong partnerships, collaborating closely with Operations, Risk Management, Compliance, Audit teams, and business leaders to improve quality, governance, and customer outcomes.
  • Provide strategic advice, relevant analysis, and concrete recommendations to improve operational performance and reduce risks.
  • Support organizational transformations, new initiatives, and evolving operational needs through effective quality oversight frameworks.
  • Influence stakeholders and foster alignment across multiple business segments to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

Requirements

  • Expertise in insurance operations: Excellent understanding of insurance operations, products, processes, controls, regulatory requirements, systems, and quality management best practices.
  • Proven leadership in team management: Over three years of experience leading, coaching, developing, and engaging high-performing teams while fostering accountability and achieving results.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills: Ability to analyze complex situations, determine root causes of issues, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
  • Operational excellence and continuous improvement: Demonstrated experience in strengthening governance, optimizing processes, managing risks, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Results-oriented and adaptable: Demonstrated ability to achieve results in dynamic and fast-paced environments while effectively managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strategic leadership and influencing ability: Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster alignment, lead in ambiguity, and leverage technology and automation to improve business outcomes.
  • Organizational transformation: Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing process improvements, technological solutions, and automation opportunities to increase productivity and organizational performance.
