About the Role
As part of the REWE team, you will be responsible for the fresh food counter, focusing on meat, sausage, cheese, and delicacies. You will advise customers with your expertise and create high-quality products. This role is open to both skilled professionals and career changers.
Responsibilities
- Convince customers with appealing product presentation, competent advice, and excellent service.
- Demonstrate skill in processing and refining products.
- Independently prepare specialties according to in-house recipes.
- Implement ideas for sales-promoting measures.
- Ensure excellent product presentation, freshness, and adherence to hygiene regulations through attention to detail.
Requirements
- Ideally, completed vocational training or professional experience in the food retail or (system) gastronomy sector.
- Experience in handling food is welcome for career changers.
- Interest in processing and refining meat and fresh products.
- Enjoyment of working with people and passion for retail.
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
- Team spirit and sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to work in a flexible shift system, Monday to Saturday between 07:00 and 23:30.
