About the Role

Parla is a new NY-style pizza and Italian-inspired cocktail restaurant opening this fall on the Upper West Side. We are seeking talented and passionate hospitality professionals to join our team for this exciting new concept.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve drinks and food.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Check guests' identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Pay special attention to all dietary restrictions by informing the kitchen.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage with a strong ability to service, educate, and sell.
• Extensive knowledge of wine and/or spirits history.
• Ability to evaluate guest's needs and make recommendations.
• Provide excellent service, so guests feel taken care of.
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes.
• 2-years of experience in a fast-casual dining environment.
• Previous experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role preferred.
