About the Role

As a Senior Pricing Actuary at Zurich, you will shape sustainable pricing strategies to support growth, deliver customer value, and enhance market position. You will combine actuarial expertise with commercial insight to drive better business decisions within the Life Insurance portfolio and influence outcomes across product, underwriting, sales, finance, and regional teams. This role contributes to innovative customer solutions and Zurich's transformation into a digital, data-driven insurer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and enhancement of premium rates to support profitable growth.
  • Deliver robust actuarial analysis and clear pricing recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Provide expert actuarial advice to support business and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate across product, underwriting, sales, finance, and regional teams.
  • Communicate complex pricing concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the ongoing improvement of pricing capabilities, tools, and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Actuarial Fellowship qualification with post-qualification Life Insurance experience.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Financial Services market and distribution channels.
  • Deep knowledge of life insurance products, insurance contracts, and pricing principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong commercial acumen with strategic problem-solving and financial management capability.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and mentoring or supporting junior team members.
