About the Role

The Senior Currency Administration Product Development Specialist assists in leading product development efforts for the Global foreign exchange business line, focusing on project management, business analysis, and research. This role is critical in identifying product opportunities and contributing to strategic product planning.

Responsibilities

  • Review, prepare, and document business requirements for upcoming CA development items.
  • Create test scenarios and test cases in integrated system tests.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Test and take responsibility of thorough systems testing in line with business requirements.
  • Identify product gaps and opportunities and recommend creative business solutions.
  • Coordinate and manage the business implications of technology implementations on the current and future business environment.
  • Help identify and incorporate process improvements to lower costs and improve efficiencies.
  • Provide sound business recommendations on issues.
  • Support currency administration client service teams.
  • Manage product development initiatives from inception to implementation.
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of product enhancements and functionality within agreed to cost and scope parameters.
  • Ensure effective project communication and collaboration across groups including Systems, Risk, FX and Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in finance, mathematics or related discipline preferred.
  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Fund Accounting and/or Currency Administration would be an advantage.
  • Excellent business analysis skills, including business requirements, product proposals and business and technical workflows.
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange trading instruments.
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative and advisory skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and make sound business decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Experience with standard desktop tools, including Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional proficiency in utilizing Excel, VBA, and other coding languages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
