About the Role
The resident assistant is integral to care delivery at our unique assisted living facility. As a direct care staff, become a part of a team and engage individuals in our quaint, residential setting. Experience working with the elderly is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Engage with residents to live full, active lives, promoting resident independence.
- Patiently participate with residents and assist as necessary with activities of daily living and medication management.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals who do not meet skilled-nursing criteria.
- Assist with laundry and resident showers.
- Set up the dining room for breakfast service.
- Complete minimal shift documentation.
- Communicate observations in the daily shift report.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Sincere desire to work with the elderly population.
- Experience with cognitively impaired residents is a plus.

- $16.70 - $20.36 per hour
